A HOTEL in the Ceiriog Valley is having a double celebration after being recognised with two top awards.
The Hand Hotel, in Llanarmon, has been recognised with the awards after a recent anonymous inspection by the AA.
It retained its two rosettes for culinary excellence, and for its newly refurbished ‘Pump House Spa’, which has been awarded the much-coveted Gold Star Award.
The news has been well-received by the staff at the hotel, including managing director Jonathan Greatorex.
“We are all absolutely chuffed to bits,” he said.
“This has been the culmination of five years of hard work by the entire team here.
“For a small village inn to be awarded these incredible accolades is utterly fantastic; we’re totally blown-away.”
The Hand at Llanarmon attracted national interest earlier this year when it was approached by the publishers A Way With Media, who offered them a book deal to write a book about The Hand.
A Slice of Heaven is being published this coming November.
