A NEW brand ‘Dyfodol Powys / Future Powys’ has been launched for Sixth Forms as part of a wider marketing campaign to promote the sixth form offer in Powys.

Accompanying the new brand is a new bilingual web platform giving parents, carers and learners relevant information, events and FAQs relating to the Post-16 offer in Powys.

The bilingual web platform also allows learners to apply for a place at a Powys Sixth Form for entry in September 2020.

The new brand and associated marketing campaign is part of the short-term measures to improve the Post-16 offer in Powys which was approved by Powys County Council's cabinet at its meeting on September 17.

Cllr Myfanwy Alexander, Cabinet Member for Learning and Welsh Language said: “The new web platform Dyfodol Powys/Powys Futures provides an easy to use source of information for young people and their families. We’re committed to doing all we can to support our learners in their choices at this crucial stage of their education.”

The web platform is available at www.dyfodolpowys.wales or www.futurepowys.wales and is available on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by searching for ‘Dyfodol Powys / Future Powys’.
