There was a feast for all the senses as Llanfyllin Workhouse opened its doors for its third Food Fair on Sunday.
The event, organised by Zarena Allan, coincided with the National Heritage Open Days, allowing visitors the opportunity to learn more about the historic building.
Zarena said: "It's about trying to get local businesses here, not too many of the same kind, and raise money, but also to get people to come here."
Funds raised from the day will go towards the Workhouse's current appeal to raise £150,000 for the Masters' House.
Llanfyllin mayor, Councillor Simon Baynes, who was in attendance, said: "I had the honour of opening this event last year.
"I used to be a trustee of the Workhouse for seven years to 2012, so it has always been close to my heart. My wife Maggie and I were instrumental in setting up the gallery and I have made the Masters' House Appeal one of my mayoral charities."
