Last night (Wednesday, September 11), Waterloo Road in Llandrindod Wells was left without street or traffic lights due to a fault in an electrical supply.
Local residents left comments in the Facebook group Llandrindod Solutions after a video was posted of the pitch-black street, saying: "Street and traffic lights off on Waterloo Road, I think the council may have forgotten to pay the electricity bill".
The fault with the lights was repaired this morning (Thursday, September 12).
A spokesperson from Powys County Council said: "The council was made aware that the lights were out overnight. Our streetlighting team went out this morning with Western Power to Waterloo Road and a fault in the electrical supply was found. This has now been fixed."
