A COUNTY Councillor has resigned, triggering a by-election.
Powys County Councillor Neil Morrison has resigned from the council with immediate effect.
Cllr Morrison has represented Newtown South since May 2017.
Arrangements for a by-election are to be announced.
In the interim period, neighbouring councillors will be able to assist constituents.
