Welshpool students celebrated another "strong" year of successes as they received their A-level results this week.
Headteacher Jim Toal said: “It has been another strong year for A-level and BTEC results.
Well over half the students gained three or more higher grades of A* - C, more than 70 per cent gained two or more higher grades of A* - C, and just under half of the students attained at least one or more of the very top grades of A*/A.
Among the several high performing students, the most notable were Bobby Crosby with two A* and an A, and Jenna Foulkes with four As.
"I would like to congratulate all the students and wish them well as they move forward into the world of work, further training, and university, and thank the staff for supporting the students so ably during their studies," said Mr Toal.
