A STUDENT from Crossgates, near Llandrindod Wells, found out she now has five A*s, in the early hours of the morning, and will be off to Cambridge.
Nia Bolland made the discovery after checking her exam results at 4am, while on a family holiday in Canada.
She is a former Builth Wells High School student, who more recently has been studying at Hereford Sixth Form College.
In a message her family said: “She was pleased to receive her excellent A level results today (August 15) at 4 am while visiting family in Canada. Together with her two early A levels she now has five A*s in Mathematics, Creative Writing, Government and Politics, History and English Literature, as well as an A in AS Further Maths.
“She has been accepted at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge University, to study Human, Social and Political Sciences.”
