Llangurig and District Show has been postponed because of forecasted bad weather, organisers have said.
A popular Montgomeryshire summer event has been called off because of forecasted bad weather.
The Llangurig and District Show, which was due to take place this Saturday (August 10) at Tynymaes Fields, has been postponed.
The announcement was made on Wednesday morning (August 7) after two yellow weather warnings were issued for strong wind and rain.
The Show's committee said: "Due to a Met Office weather warning in place for Saturday the decision has been taken to cancel the 2019 show.
"The committee are extremely disappointed but we would like to thank all our supporters and anyone who has contributed to the show effort throughout the year."
Llangurig and District Show was due to celebrate its 70th show this weekend.
