A crash took place between a lorry and quad bike on the A483 near the Sarn Bryn Caled roundabout between Welshpool and Berriew yesterday (Tuesday, July 30).

The quad bike driver, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital with potentially life threatening injuries, police have said. 

A spokeperson from Dyfed Powys Police said: "Police received a report of a collision between a HGV lorry and a quad bike on the A483 at around 4.15pm on Tuesday, July 30.
"The collision took place around two miles out of Welshpool at Sarn Y Bryncaled.
"The quad bike rider – a man in his 50s – was taken to hospital by air ambulance with potentially life threatening injuries."
