SHAKESPEARE’s comedy 'Much Ado About Nothing' comes to Powis Castle and the Willow Globe Theatre, next week but that’s not all as there are more Shakespeare choices coming this month.

It includes another show at the Willow Globe at Penlanole, Llanwrthwl, near Rhayader, with the return of one of their favourite companies The Wet Mariners staging 'Romeo and Juliet' this Saturday, August 3, bringing a new twist to the ultimate romantic tragedy

The company formed during their time at LAMDA drama school six years ago when they came to the Willow Globe to try out putting a Shakespeare play together.

The actors are now starring in top British theatre productions with companies such as the National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company and one cast member has just finished filming for a new version of ‘His Dark Materials’ for the BBC, these are actors at the top of their game.

Despite recent fame they always come back to the Willow Globe for their annual reunion. Last year's production of ‘As You Like It’ sold out completely so this year the company will be performing their production of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ twice during the day so that no one is left disappointed. There will be a show at 3pm and another at 7pm.

Their shows have developed a reputation for being clear, fun, playful and vibrant. The Willow Globe audiences are excited to see what they will bring this time.

Booking is highly recommended and tickets can be bought from www.shakespearelink.org.uk/productions 01597 811487. Tickets are £12 for adult, £6 for children and a family ticket (two adults and two children) costs £30.
