A woman has been airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries following a 'serious' collision in Knighton.
Dyfed-Powys Police says the crash happened on the A488 on Thursday, July 18.
They added that Station Road will be closed for several hours.
Motorists in the area may experience slow traffic while accident investigation work takes place between Kinsley Road and Broad Street.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman said: "Dyfed-Powys Police is at the scene of a serious RTC at Station Road, Knighton.
"One woman has been airlifted to hospital with injuries that are thought to be life threatening.”
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to call 101 and quote 150 of July 18.
