Organisers of Meifod Show are searching for a princess and attendants for this year’s show on Saturday, July 20.
Contenders will need to be in Years 4, 5 and 6 in primary school or in Years 7 and 8 in high school. Royal duties include leading the show parade and lots of waving, and the successful candidate will need to choose her own dress.
The Meifod Show committee is also on the lookout for boy and girl attendants from the same age group to join the princess.
The deadline for entries is this Saturday, July 13, when names will be drawn out of a hat at the church coffee morning.
Anyone interested should get in touch by telephoning Carol Owen on 07980 943 362.
As well as searching for a 2019 princess, show organisers are also wanting to hear from past princesses to track down as many as possible to help celebrate the event.
