Dyfed-Powys Police said the male driver and sole occupant of the car has sadly died.
A male driver has died following a single-vehicle crash near Llanbister.
The crash happened at around 11.50pm on Thursday, July 11, on the A483.
All emergency services attended the road traffic collision and the road was closed for six hours.
The male driver was the sole occupant of a Seat car which was seen leaving the road and going down an embankment.
Dyfed-Powys Police have now appealed for witnesses of the incident to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting message 422.
