Commuters face train delays this morning (Tuesday, July 2) after a fault with barriers at a level crossing near Caersws.
Trains between Shrewsbury and Machynlleth are delayed by up to 40 minutes or cancelled up until around 10am.
A National Rail spokesperson said: "Due to a fault with barriers at a level crossing between Newtown and Caersws trains have to run at reduced".
National Rail have warned passengers about the delays and are asking them check thewebsite before travelling.
