A 92-year-old Llanidloes Town supporter has donated more than 60 trophies to the club’s junior section.
Glynne Morgan, a lifelong supporter of his hometown club, gave the haul of trophies for re-using as awards for the Junior Football Club.
Peter Blanchard, of Llanidloes Town FC, said he was “really grateful” for the kind donation by the big-hearted nonagenarian.
“On behalf of the club, thank you Glynne,” he added.
People have posted messages on social media thanking Mr Morgan for the “quality trophies” adding that it was a “great idea”.
