Police have appealed for information after a female was allegedly punched in the face at a Newtown nightspot.
Officers say the alleged incident took place in the Steam Mill in the early hours of Monday, May 6.
The full statement from police said: "Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault between two females at the Steam Mill, Newtown.
"A female was punched to the face at around 00.30hrs on Bank Holiday Monday 6th May 2019. The incident took place between the bar and the dance floor.
"If anyone has witnessed the assault or can name the female responsible then please contact PC 721 Richards at Newtown Police Station on 101. "
