It’ll be full steam ahead for model railway fans across the Welshpool area as Trewern gets set for a toy fair and model railway exhibition.
On Sunday, June 9, Buttington Trewern Community Centre will play host to enthusiasts from across the area, with organisers saying there’s something for everyone at the event, which will include a variety of hobbyists as well as stalls and traders for visitors to buy, sell and swap on the day. A vintage fairground organ and vintage vehicles will also be on display.
“We started the club this year and we’re hoping this event becomes a regular thing,” said organiser Ian Bradley.
“We’re expecting a good crowd; we have 14 layouts and two full traders halls, so it should be a great day.”
The event gets on track at 10am and runs until 4pm, with entrance £3 and free for accompanied children.
