An Abermule Rottweiler named Ace has been crowned the Best in Show at the only Premier Open Dog Show held in Wales.
The champion dog beat more than 1,000 dogs to claim the show’s top honour at the Smallholding and Countryside Festival held at the Royal Welsh Showground on Sunday, May 19.
Ace, owned by Kelly Goodban, was also named Best of Breed in the working group.
Speaking to the County Times about her “mega lad”, Ms Goodban said: “I was extremely proud to say the least.”
Ace will now be able to qualify for the prestigious dog show Crufts.
