A 71-year-old man who was stabbed while out walking his dogs in Borth, near Aberystwyth, has died nearly three months later.
A spokesperson from the police said: "Dyfed-Powys Police can sadly confirm the death of Lewis Stone, following an incident in Borth on February 28, 2019.
"Mr Stone, aged 71, was walking his dog near the Borth Wildlife Kingdom when he was stabbed. He passed away this week.
"Our thoughts are with his family at this tragic time.
"A man from Borth, is charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon, namely a knife.
"A police investigation continues in respect of this incident."
