Gobowen Hospital Singing Ladies perform at the coffee morning in memory of Emma Suddaby.
HUNDREDS of pounds has been raised in memory of an inspirational woman from Foel who passed away following a battle with rheumatoid arthritis.
To mark Emma Suddaby’s 46th birthday, fundraisers gathered at the Institute in Llanfair Caereinion for a coffee morning which raised £596 for the Oswestry Rheumatology Association (ORA).
Members of the newly-formed Gobowen Hospital Singing Ladies gave a lovely musical performance while teas and cakes were served at the event on Saturday, May 18.
Organisers said: “The coffee morning was very well attended and a big thank you is in order for the many cakes baked for the event.
They added: “Thank you also for the donations received for the ORA.”
