A PATIENT was treated after a crash near Oswestry on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision (RTC) on the A495 road near Park Hall.

The incident involved two vehicles .

Two fire engines, a paramedic officer and an ambulance attended the scene.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a three-car RTC at around 8.20am at the junction of A495 and West Drive.

"On arrival, paramedics found that it was a two-car collision.

"Paramedics assessed one patient – a woman who was the driver of a vehicle which had sustained rear-end damage.

"She was discharged at the scene with minor injuries."

Fire engines from Ellesmere and Oswestry also attended.

Crews worked to make the vehicles safe.

No persons were trapped after the collision.
