A Llandrindod Wells man has been jailed for 21 months for inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Daniel Robert Atter, 37, of Montpellier Park, Llandrindod Wells, was sentenced at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Tuesday, May 14.
Atter admitted all five charges put against him: inciting a 15-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity, attempting to sexually communicate with a child and three counts of making indecent images of children.
He was charged with having 606 incident images of children, 198 of which were in category A, the most serious classification.
All of the offences took place between May and December 2017.
A Sexual Harm Prevention Order was also made for Atter to register as a sex offender for the next 10 years.
