A CHANCE to meet with a revered NASA chief is up for grabs later this month.
Llanwddyn Community Centre is presenting the unique opportunity to spend an afternoon clay pigeon shooting with Gerry Griffin, Apollo lead flight director for three lunar landing missions.
This will be followed by a three course evening meal with Gerry at the Rossett Hall Hotel in Chester, where he will give a talk on his life, career and some of the lesser known aspects of the Apollo lunar missions and life at the Manned Spacecraft Center (later Johnson Space Center) during his years there.
The shooting will be held at the North Wales Shooting School near Chester.
Money raised from the event will go to the continued funding of Llanwddyn Community Centre.
