LLANFYLLIN’S iconic workhouse is set to host a ‘connection-focussed’ event over the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of the month.

The gathering will be organised by Tim Barker and Soracha ni Chiosain and is designed to bring people together and connect one another with the community around them.

Nexus 2019 is set to be a relaxed and joyful gathering aiming to celebrate the community and make people feel better, leaving Tim excited for it.

“It’s very exciting to be curating such a positive event at Llanfyllin Y Dolydd,” he said. “Let’s all help make the more beautiful word our hearts know is possible”.

“There and numerous workshops that will be around throughout the day, involving mindful writing,

“Meditation, breathwork and much more. Stand-up comedy will be around for two of the three nights, while live music will be a major element at nexus with more than a dozen bands booked in for an eclectic mix of live performances across the weekend.”

For a full weekend adult pass the cost is £65, while children under 16 are free of charge but will require a youth pass.
