A dementia awareness charity based in Llandrindod Wells has received a cash boost from a Builth Wells choir.
Dementia Matters in Powys was Builth Wells Ladies’ Choir’s nominated charity for 2018.
Choir secretary Trish Thomas presented a cheque for more than £1,340 to Sam Bolam, chief officer of Dementia Matters in Powys, during a choir rehearsal.
The money was raised from the choir’s annual Christmas Concert which was match-funded by Hanson Aggregates Builth Quarry.
Trish Thomas said: “This was of some personal significance to certain members of the choir who are very grateful for the wonderful treatment members of their family receive from this organisation.”
