Staff, residents and their guests at Barchester’s The Rhallt care home, in Welshpool, celebrated Easter with an Easter egg hunt, easter lunch and easter bunny visit to the home.

The Rhallt enjoyed eggs-tensive range of Easter activities, from Easter arts and crafts, games and Easter bingo to hot cross buns and tea, dressing up and a visit from Rayven the Easter bunny. Residents also tucked in to a delicious traditional Easter meal.

General Manager, Sharon Herbert, said: “As always, we’ve all been looking forward to Easter. It’s such a nice time of the year – the residents love all the colourful Easter eggs, games and activities. It’s really been an eggs-cellent day!”

Burt, resident at The Rhallt, said: “It has been a lovely day, though like every Easter, I think I’ve eaten too much chocolate! It was so wonderful to see everyone go to so much effort. I really enjoyed receiving an egg from Rayven the Easter bunny.
