THE Attfield Theatre Company season concludes with a murder mystery which should intrigue its audiences right to the final page.
Curtain Up on Murder is set in the midst of an amateur theatre company rehearsing a play in the theatre they rent at the end of the pier.
Written by Bettine Manktelow, the play centres on one particular rehearsal where the doors are mysteriously locked, a mysterious ghostly presence passes across the stage and their numbers are severely depleted by a series of seemingly random murders.
So sensitive is the ending that play director Helen Roberts and her experienced cast of Francesca Williams, Grace Turner, Peter Danby, Wayne Young, Debbie Jones, Michaela Turner and Malcolm Lord are asking the Oswestry audiences keep the ending a secret until the end of the play’s run.
Tickets, priced £8 are available on-line from attfieldtheatre.co.uk or from the theatre’s box office at The Guildhall. Tel. 01691 680222.
