Police have asked the public not to be alarmed if they hear a loud bang at a beach near Aberystwyth.
Dyfed-Powys Police say a 'device' had washed up on Ynyslas beach on Wednesday afternoon.
They said partner agencies were at the scene and dealing with the device.
We are aware of a device which has washed up at Ynyslas near Aberystwyth. Partner agencies are at scene and dealing. Please do not be alarmed if you hear a loud bang. (124).
