A ward at Hereford County Hospital which was closed to visitors following an outbreak of sickness bug norovirus has reopened.
Gilwern ward, which specifically cares for older, frail people, was affected by the virus on Friday, April 12.
Wye Valley NHS Trust confirmed visits would be allowed on Monday afternoon.
A spokesperson said: "It still remains very important that any visitors with diarrhoea and/or vomiting do not visit the hospital until they have been free of symptoms for 48 hours. Visitors are requested to practice good hand hygiene and use the alcohol gels available in all wards/departments."
They added: "Wye Valley NHS Trust thanks all patients and visitors for their understanding during this period – the restrictions were put in place to protect patients as part of the Trust’s zero tolerance approach to healthcare associated infections."
Wye Valley NHS Trust provides hospital care and community services to more than 40,000 people in mid Powys.
