A new Sculpture trail featuring the Mid Wales Young Sculptors opens on Easter Friday, April 19.

Mid Wales Arts in Caersws run holiday and after school clubs for children and teenagers as well as its adult courses.

They are run by artists who voluntarily offer their time and knowledge to teach young people the skills they need to develop confidence and access the arts in a safe nurturing environment.

Regular attendees have been working hard for months to presents an exhibition of their new work.

The new children's trail will open on Good Friday with an Easter Egg Hunt.

This year's trail was inspired by 'Where the Wild Things are'. Children were encouraged to talk about their fears and use clay to make masks, imaginary creatures and animals.

The trail will remain open throughout the summer, Thursday to Sunday, minus the chocolate with free entry! The work is exhibited in a woodland area.

Mid Wales Arts is the home of the association of Sculptors in Wales, Sculpture Cymru.
