Plans for a drive-through in Welshpool, on the Buttington roundabout, have been put forward.
The drive-through plans also involve the demolition of two buildings, as well as the creation of the drive-through restaurant, vehicle access and parking area.
The development would also create 12 full-time jobs.
Delves & Co, the owner of Harry Tuffins, submitted the application to Powys County Council, with the agents Roger Parry & Partners on Tuesday, March 26.
The application has been submitted in outline form, for the principle of the development to be approved, before a full detailed plan is submitted to the planning department.
