Police have appealed for information
Police in Newtown have appealed for witnesses after a phone box was vandalised in the town.
Officers say the incident took place yesterday evening, March 26, at around 8.20pm near the Nantoer underpass.
The full statement says: "Newtown police are appealing for witnesses or information regarding an incident of criminal damage to a telephone kiosk on Llanidloes Road, Newtown, near to Nantoer underpass.
"The incident occurred on the 26th of March at approximately 20:20hrs.
"Anyone with information can contact Newtown police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
