The driver of a white van is being sought after a biker suffered serious injuries in a multiple-vehicle crash on the A470 near Brecon yesterday, Sunday March 24.

Dyfed Powys Police say they were called to the A470 between Libanus and Storey Arms at 2pm, responding to a report of a collision involving four vehicles.

A statement from police said: "A van, car and two motorbikes were involved in the collision, which occurred at an unclassified junction that leads to the A4215.

"The rider of a Suzuki suffered minor injuries, and the rider of a Harley Davidson suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital.

"The road was closed until just before 5pm while police investigated the scene."

Police are appealing for witnesses, and they say in particular they are looking for a white van type vehicle that turned right into the unclassified at the time of the collision.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Brecon Roads Policing Team on 101, quoting reference 169 of March 24.
