FIRE services had a busy evening with a string of callouts.
Crews were called to the property in Stonehouse Drive, St Leonards, at 8.59pm on Thursday and put out a small bin fire.
At 7.43pm on the same day, firefighters attended Laton Road in Hastings after reports of a burst water main affecting three neighbouring roads. The scene was made safe.
Then, at 7.54pm, firefighters freed a puppy who had trapped its head in the bars of a dog gate in Millbrook Road, Crowborough. At 8.53pm, crews extinguished a fire in Fort Road, Newhaven, and at 11.57pm freed a person trapped in a lift at a hotel in The Drive, Hove.
