THE New Saints were represented on the national stage as one of their players captained the Wales C team.
Midfielder Aeron Edwards was named in the starting line-up against England C at Salford City's Peninsula Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Currently playing for the Welsh Champions, the 31-year-old sported the red colours of the Wales kit as they drew 2-2 with their neighbouring opposition.
Wales came from behind twice in the fixture with Edwards denying England an almost certain goal in the 90th minute with a last-ditch challenge.
England took the lead through a Nathan Peate own-goal in the first half.
Kayne McLaggon equalised for Wales before a well-struck free-kick by Kurt Willoughby crept in at the near post restored the lead for the Three Lions.
Just after the hour-mark, Adam Roscow drew the Welshmen level once again with a lofted strike.
