The Cambrian Mountains Initiative’s Dyfodol Cambrian Futures Project will be holding a series of drop-in sessions for businesses and communities throughout the area.

Covering an area from Brechfa in the south to Caersws in the north, businesses are encouraged to ‘drop in’ have a cuppa and share their ideas.

They will offer the opportunity to get together and find out how the Dyfodol Cambrian Futures project can help businesses and communities work together to raise the profile of the area.

“The project is very keen to listen to businesses and communities and create plans that offer real benefits for all,” said Dafydd Wyn Morgan, Project Manager

People attending will be introduced to a variety of local food and drink producers too, including honey, wine, coffee and chocolate.

Local and regional organisations from many different fields will be on hand to help to advise Cambrian Mountains businesses and to ensure that they are able to fully explore the opportunities to be gained from engaging their business more with nature and the natural environment of the Cambrian Mountains counties of Ceredigion, Powys and Carmarthenshire.

And in the Year of Discovery, businesses will also be encouraged to register for the Mid Wales Tourism Awards being held for the first time this year.

There will also be business advice available to help to make better use of social media, the Welsh language and a chance to sign up for a special Cambrian Mountains voucher scheme.

Come along, have a cuppa and take a limited-edition Cambrian Mountains mug and a USB stick loaded with useful images, text and information home with you. Special poster-sized maps of the Cambrian Mountains will also be available.

“The project is very keen to listen to businesses and communities and create plans that offer real benefits for all,” said Dafydd Wyn Morgan, Project Manager for the Dyfodol Cambrian Futures project.
