Motorbikes worth almost £100,000 have been stolen from a garage in Rhayader

Dyfed-Powys Police said they are investigating the burglary which happened at E T James & Sons over the weekend.

Eleven bright orange off-road KTM bikes worth £9,000 each were taken in the burglary.

Thieves took the motorbikes sometime between 10.30pm on Saturday, March 16, and 4.30am on Sunday, March 17

Stolen goods include Milwaukee and DeWalt power tools, a battery jump pack and some hand tools.

In a post on Facebook, E T James & Sons said: "CCTV shows a light coloured (probably white) Mercedes Sprinter in the vicinity at the time, which was seen going down between the 2 Carad units on East Street, down towards Rhayader 4x4. It entered the estate at approximately 10.30pm and left at approximately 4.15am".

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman said they are following all lines of enquiry to establish who committed the burglary.
