PUPILS and staff at Cefnllys County Primary School in Llandrindod Wells have said farewell to a member of staff who has been at the school for over three decades: infant teacher and school pianist Sally Walker.
Sally first joined the school as in infant teacher way back in 1983.
Now, in 2019, she has retired from the school and said farewell during an afternoon assembly.
Sally has always been the school pianist and accompanist for the school choir and is pictured at the piano with some of the members of staff, including Karen Jenkins, acting head teacher; Lorraine Cadwallader-Jones, Nichola Prince, Jan Lloyd and Joanna Francis.
During the assembly, Sally, who lives in Cefnllys Lane, Llandrindod Wells, was presented with vouchers for a family portrait and for afternoon tea at Llangoed Hall.
