PUPILS and staff at two Powys schools are unable to attend lessons on Tuesday, March 12.
Newtown High School was closed due to a utilities failure and Crossgates CP School is closed because of adverse weather.
"The power outage on the Newtown Campus has now been rectified by Scottish Power," a Newtown High School spokesperson said.
"The school will open as normal tomorrow (March 13). Thank you for your support!"
Flooding has caused Crossgates Primary School, near Llandrindod Wells, to close for a second day on Wednesday, March 13.

On Tuesday morning, Newtown High School said: "Due to an unforeseen power failure on the Newtown Campus of Newtown High School, the school will be closed today (12/03/19).
"We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. We have been endeavouring to get power restored, but this will not possible by 9am."
