A LLANFYLLIN High School student was celebrating this month, after scooping the runner-up spot in a national design and technology award.
Florence Davies was short listed from every WJEC GCSE candidate in Wales down to just 12 talented innovators.
She collected her award for runner up in the GCSE section at the Senedd.
A spokesperson for Llanfyllin High School said: “Kirsty Williams, the Cabinet Secretary for Education, commented on Llanfyllin High School’s prolonged success at the WJEC Innovation awards, which is a reflection on the high standards the design and technology department have achieved for a number of years.”
