A Caersws gallery and arts centre will re-open with an exciting exhibition this month.

Mid Wales Arts Centre will host 'Inspired', an International Exhibition of poems and prints, on Sunday, March 24 until May 5.

The work is the brainchild of Andrew Baldwin, Head of Printmaking at Aberystwyth University, who has developed a non-toxic alternative to traditional etching ground that is in much demand throughout the world.

"He arranged to bring the successful ‘Poems and Prints’ exhibition from Canada," said a spokesperson.

"All prints are by international artists whose work inspired poets and will be exhibited alongside the poetry they inspired. The UK launch of this touring exhibition will be here and we have invited talented printmakers and poets in Wales to respond with a parallel exhibition.

This will make excellent use of our new exhibition space and facilities and offers a unique opportunity to encourage international cultural exchange in arts and language with an added Welsh flavour."

Opens 3pm Sunday March 24, and continues Thursday-Sunday 10-4 or by appointment until Sunday, May 5.
