A village football team on the Powys-Shropshire border has confirmed that Rafael Benitez is not their manager.
French sports newspaper L'Equipe used a graphic of the United Kingdom saying that the former Liverpool and Real Madrid boss manages Watson Financial Mid Wales League (South) club Newcastle on Clun.
Rafael Benitez is in fact the manager of top flight club Newcastle United, in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Sports journalist Tom Williams was among those who took to social media to highlight the error.
Speaking to the Powys County Times, club secretary Brian Evans said: "We don't want to have him, we've got a good one here!"
Brian has offered an open invitation to The Magpies manager to watch the team play at Mill Field.
Shropshire-based Newcastle Football Club is one of the few clubs that have special dispensation from the English FA to play in Wales.
But this isn't the first time that the rural club has been mistaken for the Premier League giant.
Brian said Dutch football fans had turned up in the village for a youth international between England and The Netherlands.
