FEE Fi Fo Fum! a giant of a half term treat comes to Mid Wales with afternoon shows of 'Jack and the Beanstalk', at Aberystwyth and Builth Wells.

The shows feature a familiar face from the BBC and its children’ channel CBeebies, Patrick Lynch.

Patrick has been presenting TV shows since 2006 and has specialised in children’s theatre since 2003 after a wide ranging career in theatre, television, film and academia.

The new Lyngo Theatre show is aimed at children aged three to eight with the classic fairy-tale retold by Marcello Chiarenza, adapted and performed by Patrick Lynch with music by Carlo ‘Cialdo’ Capelli.

Expect lots of surprises and beautiful images as Patrick tells the gripping story of Jack who sells his cow for five magic beans and finds himself in the land above the clouds.

It’s a show with something for everyone – enormous shoes, tiny houses, showers of silver and gold and a big, leafy explosion!

It can be seen at 2pm on Monday, February 25, at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, with tickets costing £6 to £8 available on 01970 623232; and at 2pm on Wednesday, February 27, at the Wyeside Arts Centre, Builth Wells with tickets costing £8.50 available on 01982 552555.
