WELCOME back to the new-look Advertizer Bygones page.
This week we’re taking a trip back to when some famous faces visited the region.
First up is a visit made by the Duchess of Kent to the world-famous Orthopaedic Hospital in Gobowen in 1985.
During her visit she met staff and patients and learned about the pioneering work taking place there.
And secondly, we remember when footballer Denis Law dropped into Stans Superstore in St Martins in 1991 and took the time to meet and greet residents.
