A 56-year-old Llanidloes man has been given a restraining order for harassment against six of his neighbours.
Christopher Bosley, of Penygraig Street, appeared at Mold Magistrates’ Court on Monday, January 28, charged with the public order offence of using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour to cause intentional harassment, alarm or distress.
Police had been called to the street at around 8pm on August 4, 2018, to reports that Bosley was making offensive and homophobic remarks towards other residents.
Police say he attended Newtown Police Station on August 6 for a voluntary interview, fully admitting the offences.
At court he was handed a 12 month long restraining order against six other residents of Penygraig Street, plus a fine of £360 and £85 costs.
