CONFUSION, panic, cross-dressing and many misunderstandings abound in Newtown Amateur Dramatic Society’s (NADS) new production of ‘Dying to Meet You’.

The curtain goes up on this fast-moving comedy, written by Ron Hutson, at 7.45pm from Monday, January 28, to Saturday, February 2.

The society welcomes Rob Jones and Julia Francis in their first appearance on the Powys Theatre stage and welcomes back Dr Emma Edmunds after many years out busy with training, marriage and having a baby.

In this comedy Richard and his wife, Barbara, in a mix-up separately offer the same room as lodgings to a young man (who turns our to be an undertaker) and a young Italian woman (who possibly has the Mafia after her). The situation is not helped when an Italian ‘gentleman’ arrives with a ‘violin’ case... what could possibly go wrong?
