A Young Farmers Club has raised thousands of pounds by carol singing for two special causes.
Members of Llidiartywaen YFC collected £2,150 by carol singing over a period of three nights in the Llidiartywaen and Llanidloes areas in December.
The money will be split between Hywel Dda Health Board Chemotherapy Unit at Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth, and charity Versus Arthritis.
A club spokesperson said: “As Llidiartywaen Young Farmers we believe in working together to support our community.
“This year we are carol singing in aid of Hywel Dda Health Charities Chemotherapy Unit at Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth and Versus Arthritis .We had a fantastic third and final night carol singing bringing our total to just over £2150.
“Each year we try to choose a national and local charity to raise for. Both charities mean a lot to us for the incredible work they do, especially Bronglais Chemotherapy Unit, who have supported previous members and helpers within the club.
“We are so grateful to our incredible community for supporting us and feel proud to have represented such worthwhile causes.”
Llidiartywaen YFC meet on Mondays at 7.30pm in Llidiartywaen School
