Glyn Davies, Conservative MP for Montgomeryshire, thanked members of the public after joining Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) committee members and fund raisers at Morrison’s Supermarket in Newtown.
Glyn, who has been President of the Montgomeryshire MNDA for many years, joined members of the branch at their highly successful fundraising pitch, which raised £317.51.
“It was a pleasure and privilege to join these great campaigners in their latest efforts, raising over £300," he said.
“For many years I’ve been involved in supporting the work of campaigners for several neurological conditions. I never fail to be impressed by the dedication they show in their support for people with the condition.
“I’m always impressed by the generosity of Montgomeryshire people as they donate to causes to help those with the range of neurological conditions. Montgomeryshire has always been a generous county.”
