ONE of the most popular children’s picture books, Judith Kerr’s “The Tiger Who Came to Tea” is brought to life in a new musical play coming to Aberystwyth this weekend direct from a smash hit West End season.

Celebrating 50 years since its first publication has been adapted and is directed by David Wood, the country’s leading writer and director of plays and musicals for children.

It can be seen at the Arts Centre at 1pm and 3pm this Sunday, December 2, and at 10.30am on Monday on Monday, December 3.

The doorbell rings just as Sophie and her mummy are sitting down to tea. Who could it possibly be? What they certainly don’t expect to see at the door is a big, stripy tiger!

Join the tea-guzzling tiger in this delightful family show; packed with oodles of magic, sing-a-long songs and clumsy chaos! A stunning stage adaptation of the classic tale of teatime mayhem... expect to be surprised!

It is suitable for children aged three and over and tickets already in big demand. Call the box office on n 01970 623232 for availability.
