ENJOY a mince pie and join in a countdown during a traditional Christmas light switch-on.
The light switch-on will be held in Prestatyn on Thursday, November 29 at 3.45pm.
There will be mince pies, carols and choirs in attendance from Ysgol Bodnant, Ysgol Clawdd Offa, Ysgol Penmorfa and Ysgol y Llys.
Cllr Anton Sampson, mayor of Prestatyn and Meliden, is running a competition for an individual - who has shown outstanding bravery or selflessness - to come forward. The winner will switch-on the lights with cllr Sampson.
Individuals can nominate themselves or someone else by dropping into Prestatyn Town Council offices on Nant Hall Road and completing a nomination form.
Alternatively, email rachael.astle@prestatyntc.co.uk. Name, age, address, contact details and a brief overview of why the person has been nominated must be included.
Anyone that has been nominated must be available on the afternoon of November, Thursday 29.
The deadline for nominations is Monday, November 26 by 2pm.
